Here’s the truth:

Catholic school is torture.

I start vomiting when I eat my mom’s homecooking.

The Devil’s Spawn has, on multiple occasions, tried to eat me.

I hate Liam.

Because I go to a Catholic school, we are taking a field trip to “houses of worship” in Newport. Yay! I’m gonna throw a party! At my religion teacher!

So anyway, we’re going to a synagogue, an Anglican church and a Quaker meeting house. I hear because Quaker’s love simple living [homelessness] they don’t have heating, so I’m gonna be freezing my butt off! Who doesn’t love that! I’m not sure if the synagogue has heating, but I don’t think so.

Oh, and it’s supposed to rain!!! And we’re going to be walking around Newport. If you’re not local, Newport in the winter can be summed up in three words: cold+wind+rain=Newport.

Justification of Circumstance

Truth be told, I really have no clue what I’m talking about. I like pomp and circumstance better, anyway.

Today was a bad day for me because I was tired. Me+lack of sleep=hell for everyone around me. So I went on You Tube and watched this hilarious video.

I couldn’t stop laughing and I played it over and over. Some people [and PETA] may think it’s cruel, but this golden retriever reminds me of my dog, who is also a golden. I hate to say it, but no matter how smart we think animals are, they usually aren’t. It’s sad. This video is justification of said circumstance.

The Play

I am a performer!

At least, I hope so.

I tried out for Godspell today. It’s a musical…… I hope I’m a good singer. While my BF was in chess club (a nerdy friend’s doing, not his!) I got to stand around enjoying myself. That’s just a momentary tease. A lot of my friends tried out, and I have to admit, they make for good competition. Truthfully I wouldn’t be surprised if I didn’t get casted.

I think it would be fun to be in a musical, even if it’s a Christian one. I always try to get with the arts. I’m in the string ensemble and jazz band at the Academy. I play violin, guitar and the piano. If you’re wondering why this would be filed under Life Is Good:) it’s because music+life=reason to live. For me at least.

So anyway, back to the play……..

I want to be Jesus in Godspell. I would be the bestest Jesus. Ever. Ever. Ever². That much ever. There is only one other Jew besides me and she’s pretty good. Jesus was Jewish. Sorry to break it to those who didn’t know (if you are a knower of said fact, and you think it would be ridiculous if someone didn’t know, that it just isn’t possible, it is. Scarily, I know multiple people who didn’t know). So like I said, I’d be awesome.

Okay, I really didn’t meanit, but it was funny, so, whatever.
